Connect is a bi-monthly journal supporting student participation. Published since 1979, it documents examples of active student participation in primary and secondary schools, reviews and develops resources, and provides information about relevant events.
The NSW SRC is the peak student leadership consultative and decision-making forum supported by the NSW Department of Education and Training. It represents all secondary students in NSW government schools.
Rising Generations is a not-for-profit organisation based in Nwe South Wales, which facilitates interactive leadership and self-esteem development programs for young people from Years 5-12 in schools across Australia.
Second Strike is Australia’s expert student voice and student leadership training company, based in Victoria. We specialise in tailor-making a training program to suit your exact needs, whether you are re-creating your leadership structure, wanting to inspire the House Captains to do more than just sport, hoping to escape the fundraising trap, or have a high functioning Student Representative Council that needs a new challenge.
The Victorian Student Representative Council (VicSRC) is a student-run organisation of secondary school students. It aims to be the representative body for Victorian secondary school students, and to strengthen SRCs by providing a network linking students and student representative bodies across Victoria. Its vision is to bring students and SRCs together across Victoria to make their voices heard at all levels.
The Victorian Institute of SRC Teacher Advisors (VISTA) is the professional association for Victorian teachers working with Student Councils. It caters for both primary and secondary schools, across all sectors by providing opportunities for teachers to network in their own region and across the state.
